Fees
The extent of these consultant services depends on prior work invested by the client and any additional efforts needed from JHEverson Consulting for assistance in researching and writing a proposal. For example, a client only may require a rapid review and critique of an existing draft proposal, whereas in other instances more extensive consulting may be needed for the proposal process.
Consulting work should begin early to take advantage of the open period when contact is permitted with government agency personal on questions pertaining to SBIR and STTR solicitation topics. An early start in the proposal process is necessary to permit time for contact with Department of Defense prime contractors to solicit their interest in the client’s innovation.
The amount of support required from JHEverson Consulting will be estimated during our initial meeting. If desired, a mutually acceptable non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be drafted before this meeting. A consulting agreement will be drafted afterwards and presented for your signature before consultant work begins. The fee is based on an hourly rate with the number of hours estimated for consultant work agreed to by the client. JHEverson Consulting will report its progress and hours expended at regular intervals for your review.
